If you're a seasoned defender I'd recommend just going straight to Insane and if you get stuck, probably on the 6th or 7th map, do the 3rd map Survival once on Hard and then a few times on Insane and breeze through the game. I'm level 54 and I am at the point now where I can solo insane The Summit. Act 3 survival waves 20-25 are also really good. I would also highly recommend purchasing the XP boost from the tavern keep each time you level up, as this can shave a bit of time off. Also moonbase with the lightning tower build is good xp and you get good items. To break into C1, you just need to be able to do 3 things. XP can be quite the grind in Dungeon Defenders Awakened if you are not ready for it! Exp gain is obviously better on some maps, but if you aren't enjoying it then you likely won't enjoy the grind at 50 either.
