Surviving are his wife, Janet M. Trent of Knoxville, TN., daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth T. and Captain George C. Hammer of Fairfax, VA., brothers, Dr. Lucian Trent of Knoxville, TN. Mr. Bailey is survived by his daughters, Joyce Bailey Valencia of Youngsville; Louise Bailey Oakley of Franklinton; Betty Bailey Arasim of Wake Forest; and Dorothy Loranne Wilkerson of Black Mountain; his sisters, Evelyon Seagroves and her husband, Albert, Ola Williams and Ella Mae Bailey, all of Wake Forest; Liffie Bailey Chamblee and her husband, Harold, of Raleigh; Lector Mae Piper and Essie Etta King, both of Franklinton; a brother, Felton Leonard Bailey and his wife, Catherine, of Wake Forest; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
